Forex volume - does it make sense?

This issue has always aroused controversy. He has as many supporters as opponents. Some stubbornly claim that, firstly - it does not give anything, secondly - we will never get the total volume, which will provide us with reliable information on the market situation. The other party is of the opinion that even a partial volume is a source of information that represents a significant part of the market (depending on its source) and when skillfully used, it can be a brilliant tool to support trading.
