Tickmill: Commission reduced to 0,0010% on VIP accounts

This is a message that will certainly please many traders. As of today, the British STP broker, Tickmill, lowers the commission on VIP accounts to an extremely low level. Starting from today, the commission is the applicable rate 0,0010% - no time or amount limits!

Changes in the commission rate apply to the entire Tickmill Group, i.e. Tickmill UK, Tickmill Europe (Vipro Markets), and Tickmill Seychelles.

0,0010% commission for VIPs

To become a VIP client Polish traders must meet only one condition. The investment account must contain a minimum of 50 000 PLN (calculated from Equity). If the level of the deposit is exceeded during the investment, all you need to do is to become a VIP by e-mail to the address pl@tickmill.co.uk.

Example commission calculation:

When opening an order of 1 lot size on EUR / USD, the commission will amount to 1 EUR per page, 2 EUR in total.
By opening an order of 1 lot size on USD / JPY, the commission will amount to 1 USD per page, 2 USD in total.

The new offer includes both new and existing customers and is not limited in time.

Status of a professional client

Tickmill is also one of the brokers that allows you to change the classification from a retail client to a professional one. As a result, any trader who meets 2 with 3 conditions can maintain leverage at the 1 level: 100, and even upgrade it to 1: 500, even after the ESMA guidelines come into force. • Communication: When communicating with you, Tickmill may assume that your level of experience is sufficient to use a language that is more complex than for retail customers.
• Experience: Tickmill can determine your level of experience in determining whether products and services are right for you.
• Best Execution: Tickmill is required to carry out your orders. As a professional client, we can analyze other factors during transaction processing, such as speed and probability of execution. For retail customers, we must prioritize the total cost of the transaction.
• FOSIf you are a Professional Client who has not been qualified as a "consumer", you will not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).
• There are no restrictions on leverage: You will have access to a higher leverage, which may increase losses on your account.

And the things that professional clients have access to:

• A segregated account - Tickmill will still keep your funds in segregated accounts.
• Flexible lever - You will still be able to use flexible leverage on FX and CFD instruments.
• FSCS protection - You will continue to enjoy capital protection up to £ 50 per person through the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
• Access to FOS - Access to the Financial Ombudsman Service ("FOS") for Professional Clients is only possible if the Client meets the Financial Ombudsman's definition of a "consumer" and therefore may not include certain professionals working in the financial services industry.
