Another 6 months have passed since the last summary of the analyzes published on the portal Trading View. It has to be honestly admitted - it was the most interesting and dynamic 12 months in the financial markets in over a decade. Huge volatility, mainly on stock indices, commodities, cryptocurrencies, but also currencies were not much worse. All these instruments were followed with bated breath by Piotr Wilczyński, who subjected them to his analysis. With what effect? We check!

Analysis statistics - H2020 XNUMX

In the second half of the year, 42 analyzes were made in total. In the first half of 2020, there were 59 analyzes, which shows a kind of market calm. Most of the total, as much as 29 (69%), covered the currency market, including indices and goods. The remaining 13 analyzes concerned the cryptocurrency market.

To maintain consistency, we again considered only the scenario that was treated as the leading one for assessing effectiveness. We also used the same division into two categories: Forex (currencies, commodities, indices) and Cryptocurrencies. To evaluate the effectiveness, we take into account the ratio of orders completed on TP in relation to the total number of executed positions ("TP" + "Stop hit"), excluding closed positions with a zero balance.

Forex analysis, indexes, raw materials

In the first half of the year, the effectiveness for the Forex market was 38%. The next 6 months, when the market to some extent limited its volatility (although it still liked to surprise a lot), resulted in better efficiency in the amount of 54%.

Although the effectiveness itself is not shockingly high, it should be noted that in the case of achieving "TP", there was practically always a favorable risk to reward ratio (Risk: Reward), which was on average 1: 3 (3 times greater profit than potential loss). on SL). Cryptocurrency analysis

In the previous period, the effectiveness of cryptocurrency market analyzes was a sensational 73%. In the period from July to December 2020, there were fewer analyzes (13 compared to 22 in the first half) and here we can boast a slightly worse effectiveness, which amounted to 60%.
