Summary of FxCuffs 2016 - the largest FX event in Central and Eastern Europe

Last weekend, on March 11-12, the ICE Congress Center in Krakow hosted the largest investment event, not only in our country but also in the Central European region - FxCuffs 2016. It was the second edition and it again consisted of three parts - the Fair, the Conference and the Awards Gala. Preliminary estimates are about 2200 visitors during these two days. About 40 exhibitors appeared at the Fair, including FX brokers from all over Europe.

A complete novelty on a global scale was Charity Trading, which took place on Friday. Volunteer traders decided that they would devote their personal earnings from trading that day to a good cause - incl. on "INVESTORS FOR CHILDREN". The action was joined by brokers who announced that the traders' commission income would also join the charity pool.

The most important speakers who shared their knowledge during the Conference were: Scott Carney, Egon von Greyerz and Michael Madden. After all, the crowds in the room were mainly gathered by Trader21 and Rafał Zaorski representing TJS.

The lecture of Dorota Nowalska from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and Janusz Ekerta from Forex Club was very less popular, during which many key questions were raised regarding matters that were extremely important for retail traders as well as Forex brokers.

During the Fair, the exhibitors tempted visitors with their offers on preferential terms, numerous competitions with interesting prizes and ... beautiful hostesses ... Forex Club also decided not to be left behind. In the "ForeX eXtremalnie" competition, the main prize was one of the extreme sports to choose from (Skok z parachronie / Super car driving / Off-road / Flyboard). As bonus prizes, three books by Larry Williams, "Secrets of Short Term Trading". There was one condition - it was necessary to give the correct answer to the question: "What day was the Swiss franc rate released?".

The winner was Mr. Adam with whom we will contact in the near future. Congratulations!

During the Gala, awards were given in 11 categories. The Gala itself was led and stained with performances by PUK cabaret. Nominees were selected by the trade community, while the Chapter was decided by the vote.

By the decision of the President of the FxCuffs Foundation, there was no award in this category. The statuette will go to the auction, the proceeds of which will be entirely allocated to charity and will support the action INVESTORS FOR CHILDREN.

In category Binary Options Broker of the Year By the decision of the Chairman of the Jacek Maliszewski Chapter, the prize was not granted (due to the suspension of the license of two companies from among the five nominees).
