created Paweł MosionekJune 20 2017

Platforms Forex based on web browsers (so-called WEB platforms) are gaining more and more popularity every year. The reason for this state of affairs is primarily the increase in the mobility of traders, who more and more often trade using mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. It is also human nature and its "lazy element", which make it easier for us to launch a website and add a link to your favorite tabs than to install the software.

Brokers and software developers noticed this move and decided to strongly develop this element of their offerings. The result is a flood of updates and news appearing over the last year. Below, we have prepared for you a list of the most popular Web platforms, detailing the most important functions.

Until recently, almost all Web platforms required the installation of additional software (Java, Flash, etc.) and were optimized only for selected web browsers. As can be seen in the table above, these times are over. The brokers organized a kind of "arms race" wanting to distinguish themselves with more and more interesting and unusual functionalities from the competition. So is a new era dawning and desktop platforms will be extinct?

The summary of each platform is waiting for you on the following pages of the article.
