When she fled to the US and reported the case to the FBI, she was told that an investigation could not be launched against a citizen of that country in a case that took place in Belize. A search of the house and the company was carried out by local authorities, but found "only" a warehouse of unregistered weapons.

After the move, his neighbor mysteriously died, complaining of nuisance dogs and McAfee's bodyguards. Earlier, a boy who broke into his villa was beaten to death. So the millionaire fled to Guatemala, and eventually returned to the US and even wanted to run in the presidential election, but ultimately did not top the Democrat list.
