Dukascopy PAMM Account Test - Week # 18. On a loss

The fourth month has passed since the start of the investment on PAMM LP account Dukascopy. From the PLN 20 invested, we have now reached the level of… PLN 000. This is not only below expectations, but also below initial capital taking into account the costs of transferring funds.

As a reminder. Forecasted capital growth based on historical performance Dukascopy is 10-12% per annum, provided that the level of risk is very small. And in fact, if the amplitude of deposit fluctuations is small, then after such a long period *"Mixed market" we began to move away from the goal more and more.

* Throughout the current investment period, we were dealing with changes in the trend, low and high volatility.

Assuming that the results are generated "on a regular basis", theoretically at this stage it should already be increased by about PLN 600. Unfortunately, for the time being, the investment brings an equal loss of PLN 200. The strategy itself remains the same. There is a lot of transactions, and practically everything.

Wnioski

Our investment horizon was originally set for a minimum of one year. We are more and more inclined to some modification of this assumption, where the condition for continuing the investment after 6 months will be the return of capital to the level of the original deposit, excluding transfer costs (ie equal to PLN 20). We set our "pain threshold" at 000% of the initial capital, which is half of the assumed annual rate of return.
