CTrader 3.0 is coming, a new version of the Spotware platform

cTrader version 3.0 is coming! The long-awaited major update of the popular trading platform FX / CFD it will appear later this year. Is there a revolution ahead? Time will tell, but the developers are already revealing that by introducing the new version they have carried out a general overhaul of the currently available application.

cTrader 3.0 - What awaits us?

Software developer, company spotwarehas worked for a long time to integrate all functionalities in one place. So far, the platform has been broken into two parts - cTrader and cAlgo. The new version is to bring a key change in the form of combining two applications into one. The modules will be renamed cTrader Trade and cTrader Automate.

The new foundation is also to be the basis for adding the cTrader Copy application, which is the successor of the cMirror service enabling the copying of orders between traders. As a consequence, cTrader users will be able to make transactions in one place, copy them between platforms / accounts, duplicate the other traders' performances and analyze the results in one application.

In addition to combining these applications, there will be many modules that will take the application capabilities to a higher level. These will be, for example, predefined tick charts. There will also be a completely new application cTrader Analyze for the analysis of investment results, or an improved and more intuitive cAlgo.API interface.

Developers also expanded the capabilities of this feature. Now, through the API, it will be possible to handle Stop Limit orders, trailing rates, fractional volume values ​​and Stop Trigger methods.

Panagiotis Charalampous, head of Community Management at Spotware, said:

When we released the 3.0 version, we achieved an important milestone. A unified trading app that would ensure seamless exchange of experiences with the entire spectrum of our users, such as manual traders, algorithm traders, strategy makers and investors, was something we have worked on over the past year without a break. Finally, by publishing cTrader 3.0, we managed to share some of this work with our traders and brokers, and the next exciting features are on the way and will be delivered this year.

The final date of the introduction of the 3.0 version has not been disclosed. We will certainly monitor the situation and we will inform you about the debut of the new version of the Spotware platform in the Forex Club!
