Coinbe.net and Safecap Investments on the list of KNF warnings
The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) today decided to include two new entities on the list of warnings: Beatcoin.pl sp. Z o. O. With its registered office in Warsaw (Coinbe.net) and Safecap Investments Poland sp. Z oo with its registered office in Warsaw.
Cryptocurrency exchanges and legal regulations
In the middle of last year, the PFSA presented in its communiqué opinion regarding the requirements for cryptoclosure exchanges operated in Poland. A notification was submitted to the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw about Beatcoin.pl's suspicion of committing a crime (activity conducted via the Coinbe.net website) under Art. 150 sec. 1 Law on Payment Services (unauthorized activity in the provision of payment services or in the field of issuingand electronic money).
A breach of the provisions of Art. 150 is punishable by up to PLN 5 or imprisonment for up to 000 years, or both.
Safecap Investments Poland sp. Z oo
A notification was submitted to the Public Prosecutor's Office about the suspicion of committing a crime by Safecap Investments Poland sp. Z oo with its seat in Warsaw. 178 of the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments (conducting activities in the field of trading in financial instruments without the required permit or authorization).
The name of the company is strongly convergent with the company Safecap Investments Limited ('Safecap') to which belongs the well-known brand of Forex broker using the Cypriot license, Markets.com.
