Bitcoin Latinum (LTNM) - This will be the new Bitcoin

created Michał SielskiDecember 1, 2020

Another "little brother" Bitcoin will appear on the cryptocurrency market. In 2021, Bitcoin Latinum (LTNM) will be available on cryptocurrency exchanges, the holders of which will have ... insurance to protect their funds against theft.

We are continuing the cycle of the Forex Club portal in which we describe the largest, most valuable, as well as the most popular and controversial cryptocurrency projects in the world. Today it's time for Bicoina Latinum (LTNM), which is another cryptocurrency that is trying to promote its name similar to the most famous cryptocurrency. However, it offers much more than just a name.

Bitcoin Latinum is not yet available to cryptocurrency enthusiasts, as it cannot be traded on or paid for on any of the exchanges. But it has already been officially announced that it will be available for over-the-counter pre-sale. It will differ from the classic Bitcoin in many ways. It is not that the emerging cryptocurrencies have much greater opportunities than BTC. And so it will be in this case.

Cryptocurrency with insurance

The target pool of new tokens will be 888,888,888 LTNM. It is expected to debut on cryptocurrency exchanges in 2021. The algorithm focuses primarily on increasing scalability and it has succeeded - Bitcoin Latinum is much faster than its ancestor. Primarily thanks to the new ecosystem of decentralized finance (DeFi) that enables independent digital transactions. DeFi has been developing at a crazy pace lately. In February this year, the market was estimated at $ 1 billion, and the Nasdaq exchange now claims that the total value of the cryptocurrency market operating in the DeFi system has already exceeded $ 14 billion.

Bitcoin Latinum tokens are to be a convenient means of payment for everyday settlements. Their creators primarily target the media, games, data collection, cloud computing and telecommunications sectors. It is around them that they will be developing affiliate networks. The cost of the transaction is to be many times lower than in the case of Bitcoin, and also faster, which is to encourage a new cryptocurrency.

Developers are also reaching out to those who are still afraid of cryptocurrencies. It turns out that they will be able to be confident about their funds, regardless of what happens to them. Marsh & McLennan - one of the world's leading insurance brokers and risk advisers - has been appointed to develop a comprehensive insurance program for Bitcoin Latinum. Marsh Asia will provide complete cryptocurrency insurance and refund in the event of possible theft as well as other attacks. This makes Bitcoin Latinum the world's largest insured digital asset.

Big partners, big plans

Bitcoin Latinum is already supported by financial and technological giants. One of them is the Draper Dragon Fund, which has so far invested in well-known companies in the blockchain industry: Telegram, Ledger, Vechain, Ultrain, Aelf and Token Insight. And he wants to apply the synergy effect.

"Cooperation with Marsh, Monsoon and Bitcoin Latinum will further expand our digital wallet" - says Richard Wang, the fund's managing partner Dragon Digital Fund, owned by billionaire Tim Draper.

The Cross Creek Media Film Academy, associated with Sony Pictures Entertainment and Universal Pictures, also intends to trade the token. He is undoubtedly one of the giants of the world of film, contributing to such titles as Black Swan, Barry Seal: Smuggling King, Everest, Hacksaw Ridge.

“We are extremely pleased with the launch of Bitcoin Latinum and the opportunities it offers as an insured token for the development of our next productions. With Cross Creek's portfolio of investments in new media technologies, we are ideally placed to take advantage of the digital asset sector in the media and gaming industry. " - highlights in an interview with the Polish Press Agency Timmy Thompson, CEO of Cross Creek Media.

So it is clear that blockchain technology is no longer associated only with the IT world, but is increasingly penetrating the "traditional" business. Bitcoin Latinum is to be another drop that will eventually make a permanent place for cryptocurrencies in this rock.
