Alps Markets and Niro Trade on the KNF's list of warnings

created Paweł MosionekJuly 7 2021

Polish Financial Supervision Authority placed two entities on the list of warnings - Alps Markets and Niro Trade. We warn you against using the services of these entities. Details below.

Watch out for Alps Markets and Niro Trade

On July 5, 2021, the KNF's list of public warnings "gained" two new items. In both cases, we are dealing with illegally operating entities that not only do not have the required licenses and permits to offer this type of services, but also their main goal is to obtain funds from unaware investors.

We are talking about Alps Markets, operating under the domain alpsmarkets.com, and NiroTrade, operating under the domain nirotrade.com. In both cases, the cause of blacklisting is officially a notification regarding the suspicion of committing an offense under Art. 178 of the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments, i.e. conducting activities in the field of trading in financial instruments without the required permit or authorization. The proceedings were initiated by the KNF Office and the case is being conducted by the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw.

The Niro Trade website is no longer active, however Alps Markets is still active. The website itself is not very extensive, but the "broker" offers trade on it using the popular MetaTrader 4 platform on the Forex market with a leverage of 1: 500. However, no information on the country of registration or contact details can be found.
